This comes from the perception that America is a bully. The US carries the most influence in world politics and has many interests world wide that are protected with force.

No other country would be able to go against the UN the way the US did. The US started a war and the UN didn't intervene and in the end sent troops at the US request.

When you are a little nation looking to control its people with religious fear, it is easy to point to the big dog US and say they are the big evil.

Are you joking?

Because America operates for money, period. Screw you and the horse you rode in on if there's a buck to be made. No conscience, no thought for aftermath of behavior, no consideration given to indigenous peoples, no compromise, no dialogue, no working with others to solve the problem.

If you're serious about the question, read "Imperial Hubris."

Here, this will get you started:

The Bhopal Disaster took place in the early hours of the morning of December 3, 1984, in the heart of the city of Bhopal, India, in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It was caused by the accidental release of 40 tonnes of methyl isocyanate (MIC) gas from a Union Carbide India, Limited pesticide plant owned by Union Carbide.
The BBC gives the death toll as nearly 3,000 people dead initially, and at least 15,000 from related illnesses since.[1] Greenpeace cites 20,000 total deaths as its conservative estimate.[2]. Bhopal is frequently cited as the world's worst industrial disaster. [3] [4] [5] It is the subject of controversy to this day.

A lot of countries have not liked us for a very long time because America is very strong and there's no denying it. Right now I think some countries are afraid of war and are speaking out of their fears.

Because we are the reigning superpower. No other country loved Rome or the British Empire. I believe that the British allowed guilt to make them give away their Empire.

There will always be a country on top; if America goes it will be the Chinese; does anyone think that will be better.
