It is a nightmare, and I get really nervous, when I am out in the cold, It is bitter cold

I am so cold. People make me nervous, and that job make me real nervous. I got to back to work tonight, and I am real scared, what should I do.

If your job is making you that unhappy, I think the first step for you is to quit and go find something that you enjoy doing.

The reason to live is to find happiness in your life. Sounds like you are having a hard time doing that. I'm in the same boat. And I've had similar feelings. I've been suicidal. Things are looking up now, but happiness is scarce. However I'm not going to give up on it. You need a little inspiration in your life.
If you don't like your job, then find one you'll like better. But don't forget, it's called "work" for a reason. However, keep looking for happiness during your leisure time. It's not impossible. But it does take a while. Right down everything you want to do in your life, no matter how simple or how complex. Then, work towards those. Give yourself a goal. My goal is to write a book and move to canada and marry a pretty lady and have 3 cats and 2 dogs and start a music career. The key to life is to dream. If you can't dream, then what's the point of living. Dreams can't come true if you never dream them.
I hope this makes some sense to you. I know you are scared and frankly, I don't blame you. Life really does suck sometimes. But if you tough it out, life can really work out in your favor from time to time. Hang in there. If you need to talk, email me at xindy924@yahoo.com

Let's fix the low hanging fruits. You don't like your job and you should move onto something better suit you. You are a bit depressed and your job environment is not helping you.

So, instead of trying to end your live, try to do something that can help improves it. One of the few is to find a different job, meanwhile if you have vacation hours, take it. Take some time off from work and do something you enjoy.

Two is to find someone to share about your thoughts and your feelings. girlfriend or friends or a pyschiatrist will work.

There are plenty of things out there worth cherishing. Just that you have not have time and the opportunity to experience them. Make some adjustment to your schedule, environment and you should see things to improves. Talk to more people to broaden your view and they may be able to help you to see the world from different perspective and angle. That can sure help you to rediscover the world you are living in. I am amazed that I am keep learning new things about the people, world and myself everyday.

Good luck!

why not ask the other question - why should you die?

you deserve to live - dying will come for you soon enough - just like for every one else - so why not look around - find something in the world that you find interesting and go spend some time doing it - or learning about it - or planning to go do it -any step that gets you closer - then take a break - get a burger - drink a beer - relax - have some pizza - watch a movie - as the saying says.... "its all good" - enjoy your time here - the end will come but theres no hurry

My dear friend, what about those people in Africa starving to death? What about those people in Iraq, come on don't give up!! Make your life worth it, change your job, the reason you are nervous is because your sleeping pattern is not good, find a day time job, and find a wife, have kids, then you will see the real reason to live and work for.. GOOD LUCK!!!

If you do not like the job you have now then apply for another one ! Why is it so bad that you would feel this way? My husband would give anything to have a good job right now because we are going through some really rough times but not so bad that we want to give up on life!! You need to talk to someone &tell them how you are feeling! GOOD LUCK&GOD BLESS!!

I so empathize with you, I feel like you've brought me back through time (chuckle).
First of all friend, there isn't a meaning of life, but the meaning we 'individually' give it. We all share a commonality in finding the 'purpose' in our lives which directly coincides with the attributes and qualities of the individual. Find in your heart what you really love and work to develop yourself to achieve it. You will have a greater sense of 'purpose' and 'meaning' in your life.

I believe you may have some insecurities which make you feel inferior to others, have doubt in your abilities and a fear of failure. I'm sure you're more capable than you give yourself credit for. So many of us depend on the feedback of others for validation. But for the preservation of self worth positive feedback is seldom given. I also believe you're a good person and you have 'courage' to trudge on with so much against you, which is more than I could say for people that would just 'quit' because they don't like it.

Also consider that people will react according to the way you 'project' yourself. Don't take their reactions to heart as they don't know the person you are and the elements or forces in your life. People's opinions are usually self biased. Use the outside world mainly as a type of guide or tool as you develop and evolve. I am proud of you and you should be proud of yourself. You already have much of which to have greater self confidence and inner strength.

So know this, because you'll go to work tonight you 'do' have the strength to go on and believe as I do in you that you 'are' worthy of life.

One more piece of advise, when we experience a lack of support, friendship and love, be the first to freely give it of yourself. In many (not all) cases others will admire you for it and will reciprocate these things and you will have your reward.

Keep in mind that most results are not instantaneous and take time, so keep your eyes only on your goals and and 'know' that you 'will' achieve them. Feel free to contact me if you wish.
Your friend.

i will give you a reason and i hope from my heart it will help: when i feel sad, when i find no purpose in life, because even if you have a good life you ask yourself if there's a supreme purpose and why you were given a life, i remember what someone told me- that happiness is in the little things. its not your job that ought to make you happy, your job provides you with food, that's all, but you should make friends and begin to know people, know yourself and enjoy everything that you have. take a second , observe what is around you and maybe you'll see that learning is a purpose itself
