Yes, had some issues with timing, but bigger problem was too low compressor efficiency.

Yes. It exists. From France, I think, from overhearing conversation of Orion engine mechanics. It is in the process of being evaluated for sales in the USA. I guess the French examined their ability to pass gas better than anyone else and took that thought to the next logical conclusion in transportation technology. Not bad for a culture with a 35 hour average work week and National Unions.

You are pulling our leg. Compressed air is not combustible.
