Can a parish have a mayor?

My apologies, I meant the difference between a parish and a city and if a parish has a mayor.

A parish is the french way of saying county. They usually have a form of leader, usually called the parish President. There is also usually a parish council. I live in Louisiana, the only state that has parishes.

There is no difference...Just the states which use them differs. I know Louisiana has parishes where most states have counties.

Parishes and counties don't normally have mayors..Cities do.
