I would like to leave them there on the weekends too and just pick them up for Birthdays and major holidays!

Wow, some people are really angry at you over this question!!! You must have hit a sensitive spot for them, huh? This is a perfectly acceptable routine. I was in England over the holidays and witnessed many families with kids in boarding schools. I mean I know this is fiction- but look at Harry Potter.

Wow! Good idea but if we could do that would we actually do it?
Oh, there is a program, it's called boarding school or child protective services! I guess you decide. Either way, end result, our kids will have some major abandonment issues!

I think they ought to go 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year...until they are at least 18

You opened your legs and made your bed. Now lie in it. You can't expect other people to fix the mess you created. Grow up and face your responsibility. Otherwise send them to boarding school.

Sorry, but you had the kids, they are your responsibility so you need to raise them. You just can't expect someone else to do the work for you.

Because you want spent any time with your family, and you can actually leave kids in school, BOARDING school.

Because then I'd be doing everything myself, all the housework and cooking, and finding the remote, and phone and everything else. Besides, I'd miss playing with all their cool toys and reading their wonderful bedtime stories.

They have schools like that. THey have charter schools where the kids stay all week.
