all the time. But it is just a dream so there is no need to "deal with it"
just last night I had a dream I asked my ex to marry me, and when he said yes I thought "what am I doing? I dont like him" LOL

yes, I think it maybe is something in my sub-conscious that is thinking about that person..... I have dreamt about a man other than my husband and know it is probably because i find him attractive and/or thought about him before I fell asleep.
I don't usually do anything to deal with it - as it is just dreams however sometimes I wonder if my dreams are telling me something...... good question by the way....

Yes. Why shouldn't you? Is there a real reason like a cousin or is the person you dream about a friend's husband/wife? Consider why it's impossble and either keep it to yourself or act on it. What could you loose?

I've had dreams like that, but just ignored them when I woke up because they were too embarrassing to discuss to anyone. You can't choose your dreams, but you can forget about them.

I accept that I had the dream. Then I find a hobby or something else that is enjoyable in order to distract myself.

yes. it happens to almost eveyone
just remember that its a dream, and you have no controll over what happens in a dream, and the best part is, no one knows unless you tell them, so dont worry and just do your best to forget and dont feel guilty, its not your fault!

I sure do. I just try and forget it. I chalk it up to a bored mind and try to find something interesting before bed for the next few days.
