If you do an upgrade, you will keep your network settings and should not have to reconfigure your wireless card. If you are doing a reformat to install Vista, you will have to reconfigure everything in regards to your networks card settings.

beware vista does not support usb routers, it only supports ethernet types so i was informed by my ISP
