We have mold in our basement. Approximately what does it cost to have someone come out and remove it.

And, is there anyway to absolutely prevent it from coming back?

I used a solution of 1 part bleach to 2 parts water and a stiff bristle brush to remove the mold and most of the stain from the concrete blocks in my basement. Rinse with clear water after then let dry thoroughly. Then I filled any cracks with caulk and painted it with Dry Loc as recommended on the container. I put three coats on the exterior walls. That was two years ago and I haven't seen any signs of mold returning. It helps to use a dehumidier or moisture absorbing crystals.

I have had success by washing the basement walls with bleach.
A dehumidifier helps to keep it from coming back.
