It was Fantastic Voyage, made in 1966. Innerspace, starring Dennis Quaid and Martin Short was a rip-off of Fantastic Voyage.

The Fantastic Voyage for sure. I seen that when I was a kid and was blown away by it. Loved the part where the human antibodies where attacking the vehical they where in. Freaked me out. At the end they emerged just in time in the mans tears in his eye just befor they went back to normal size.

the movie im thinking of wasnt in the 70s. it was the mid 80s and the movie is called "Innerspace" with martin short and dennis quaid.
