I have many, but "Sadeness" by Enigma and "Stellar" by Incubus spring to mind. And I always love a good country love song.

I'm a very passionate person, so I prefer more upbeat, heavy music. Something that, combined with the energy from the act, brings the heat of the moment to a whole 'nother mind-blowing level.

Absolutely anything by Roxy Music or Bryan Ferry. I listen to both artists incessantly every single day, sometimes more than once. I thank Youtube eternally for posting their music videos. To this day, I have never heard song more sultry and even less that are so beautiful.

Here's a not-so-small-list of songs that only reinforce the fact that I have a hopeless crush on this man's music.

Here's a list of my favourites. The album name is in brackets.

1) Roxy Music
a) The Main Thing (Avalon). The most erotic of the Roxy Music songs. The keyboards sequences are so sexy that they should be marital aids. I could go into how sexy Ferry's voice and his eyes are in the music video, but I'd be banned.

b) Avalon (Avalon). Though more understated than "The Main Thing", it's still as sexy as hell. When you listen to the song you can almost imagine a couple coming home after a party, then making love and being absorbed into each other.

c) More Than This (Avalon). Granted, it's about one night stands, but this is the Roxy Music song that brings out the true beauty in Ferry's voice. Ironically, he never performed it live for more than 20 years.

d) Same Old Scene (Flesh + Blood). The guitar and keyboards give this song a dance-track, Duran Duran feel. Good for dancing in a club and getting lost in the rhythm.

2) Bryan Ferry
a) Slave To Love (Boys and Girls). The song that was playing during "that scene" in "9 1/2 Weeks". It's also the song that introduced me to Ferry and then Roxy Music.

b) Windswept (Boys and Girls). "Slow baby, you can take your time." Enough said.

c) Is Your Love Strong Enough ("Legend" soundtrack). The lyrics have a very "Romeo and Juliet" feel to them. As with "More Than This" and Roxy Music, this is the song from Bryan Ferry's solo career that shows off the sheer perfection of Ferry's voice. Every note he hits, every trill of his voice is sublime. In the video, Ferry's sultry eyes strike again.

d) Sensation (Boys and Girls). One of Ferry's "Odes To The Booty Call" from his solo career.

e) Don't Stop The Dance (Boys and Girls). Though it's more of warning against superficial attraction, the song till has the same trademark sexiness of many of Ferry's songs.

f) Kiss and Tell (Bete Noire). Widely believed to be his take on Jerry Hall's blabbing about her relationship with Ferry, The song also has one wicked bassline and a sexy chorus. "Fever, the heat of the night. Fever, stealer of sighs..."

g) You Go To My Head (Let's Stick Together). Actually a cover of a Frank Sinatra song, Ferry's version sounds as if it's a Bond movie theme. Come to think of it, it's a crime he was never asked to compose one in the first place.

h) I Put A Spell On You (Taxi). Another of Ferry's covers, this time of an old Scremin' Jay Hawkins tune. Instead of making it angry like the original, he slows it down a bit and adds one heck of a sexy guitar.

i) Help Me (The Fly soundtrack) Though one of Ferry's more obscure tunes, it's still worthy of being one the list. It speaks of being lost in life and taking the chance of love even though it's both powerful and risky.

I prefer either Selena's 'Dreaming of you,' Selena's 'I could fall in love,' or just something soft and romantic to set the mood.
