I'm looking to buy an iPod Nano to take travelling with me; seen as I will be travelling without a computer I need it to use a mains charger.
I've look at the product descriptions on the nanos & there seems to be no mention of a mains charger, only of a USB cable.

you can buy a mains charger it costs a bit though but is kinda a cool looking plug with a lovely blue light on. And if like mine yours is blue its a good collection (lol). It does charge your ipod better because the USB cable has to of course have the computer switched on and also will conect to your itunes and update itself. When you buy and iPod Nano the mains charger doesnt come with it because it isnt necessary but you can buy it seperatly from a computer shop, the apple shop or ebay or wherever.

Yes, any iPod charger or USB Mobile Phone adaptor will work with any iPod. The same chargers can be used with a Mobile phone using a USB cable to charge. USB is a universal charging voltage of @ 3.8 volts. Therefore any USB charger will work with this or any other USB plug equipped item. That will allow you to use the same charger for your iPod, Mobile, PDA and GPS reciever etc. You can also use USB equipped car adaptors with any of the above and also any of the power extender batteries available.
