A group of my friends and I have seen pictures and heard the stories about The Hellfire Club in Dublin in Rathfarnham on Mountpiler Hill. We know its about 10 miles south of Dublin City but how do you get there? Is there a bus that will take you on a tour? or do you just have to take the train or a cab to it?

There is no bus route to the Hellfire Club, the nearest one would leave you with about a 5-6 miles walk to it. The 49 bus to The Old Mill pub and cut through a housing estate to walk up a country road (no footpaths) the Old Court road as far as it goes until it meets Stocking Lane where you turn right. Walk as far as Killakee House restaurant and Art Centre, beyond which, through a carpark on the right, there is access to a steep path to the Hellfire Club . The hellfire club building itself is only a derelict building but the view from the top is worth the visit.

Shhhh! It's a secret. If anyone asks - it does not exist.

However,r,r if you really want to go and are prepared to take your clothes off and dance around an open fire, just contact me and all will be arranged. By the way, my name is really Butch, and I live in Ballsbridge.
