Would you be Honest and Return them? Did you hear about that New York Cabbie who did this? His fare tipped him 30 cents on a more than 10 dollar charge...then left a sack of diamonds behind! He hunted her down for hours...to return them. Would you do that?

I would return them expecting nothing in return. I have to live with myself and I don't even like jewelry...lol

It was a briefcase that had diamond rings in it, not a sack of diamonds. I think the woman was very cheap and ungrateful for only giving him a $100 tip for returning them, considering it took him hours to track her down. But kudos to him for someone being so honest. That's something to admire.

I'd turn them into the police. That would be the honest thing to do becaue they didn't belong to me. The cabbie did the right thing. It's good to know there are honest people in the world!

If I was only given 30 cents, I would've took every single one of those rings! I'm a bad person, I'll admit it. But I'm also broke, lol. Hey, I used to be a waitress, I know what it's like to work your butt off for someone and get a crappy tip as gratitude.

people were awfully hard on the woman, 31 diamond rings, no way they were hers, she probably had them for a job, and while that was a chintzy tip, the100$ reward may have been a big bite out of her pocket if she was just a poor working girl. I'd have turned them in to my manager and expected her to come looking for them in the lost and found dept., but he went above and beyond.

NO!!!! I would be watching my back for a few weeks/months to see if someone was looking for me etc. (you always see that kinda thing on the movies like when a dude is out to get you blah blah blah) Then would hit a bunch of pawn shops and jewelry shows and just sell them. Then with the money I made open up my own Private driving business.

I would return them. he probably would have been in big trouble if he kept them because she probably would of remembered where she left them with that many diamonds. But come on tip more and be NICE.
