i'm not sure but i think he wanted to create some sort of "perfect race", whereby only healthy couples would have been allowed to reproduce.....people who are partly disabled or have some disease like asthma or diabetes lets say would have not been allowed to reproduce.

I think that Hitler's initial aims were honourable, but as time went on, he developed two very serious diseases (besides the STD's that he had). The first one was depression and the second, due to the whole depression thing, was a form of megalomania.

Remember, if you were around a load of very strong charactered generals who were advising you all the time, you would also start thinking like them - then start fearing them like Hitler did.

And yes, there is a bit of a Jewish answer intertwined. I am sure that had Hitler not had some or other bad experience with a jew or jews in his younger life, he would not have been targetting them. He was one sick man!

And remember - we all have something to learn by the mistakes of our forbearers.

Hitler changed his aim many times , after defeating the British at Dunkirk he turned his attention to overthrowing the Russians reneging on a pact he had with them , he was not a person who could be relied upon because even before the commencement of WW2 he broke many agreements in respect of many countries he promised not to invade and subsequently did the exact opposite.
The world denomination was possibly his ultimate objective but even this theory is subjective due to weaknesses in population control , hence the the brutal regime of tyranny culminating in the extermination of those easily disposed of.
Recent history provides many similar examples of dictators with not too different ideals.

Can't give you a complete answer, if you stifle me. Hitler was a bum. He wanted to create some kind of warped German empire.
