You know I am your age, almost 17 years old. When I was 15 years old. I met this really cute guy at one of my friends partys. I ended up asking him for his phone number, and we started hanging out like everyday. Now were in love with eachother, have a 9 month old boy and have our own apartment. It is really great. I am very lucky. Because I love them both very much and would not change anything. I know I am young, but it was all worth it. SO I guess follow your heart but be careful.

I totally agree with you on the whole 'don't go looking for love' thing.. but I think that if an opportunity presents itself you should go for it! Who knows, maybe he's been wondering whether or not to ask you out but he hasn't quite found the courage yet. I would take the initiative and be the one to ask him out for coffee so your not left with wondering what could have been. Go for it and see what happens! Hope I could help!

Whatever you do be safe. Always make him wear protection. Because honey in a few years or even next week you'll be lusting after a different boy. It will be better for you to wait till your a little older to worry about that. Anyway let them come after you. Men tend to think a girl might be easy if she makes the first move.

Well for one it is okay to ask him to coffee or to talk but how in the world could you say you don't want to force love...you don't even know this guy! Take it easy and just be friends do not for any reason sleep with anyone until you are older and feel confident they are forever....this is so you don't regret it later...good luck and seriously take it easy on the LOVE thing.

You are young and should enjoy good friendship. Most guys at this age hormones are high and will play on your like for them for sex, "sometimes". If it is just coffee and nothing else fine. If you are interested futher let him ask you. You maybe asking for more than you bargin for, if he happen to be involved with someone else.

i think that its great that you have the courage to ask him out. if it was me then i would ask him out anyway , you never know he may turn out to be a loser but you wont know unless you try to get to know him better. anyway even if nothing romantic comes out of your date you may find a good friend for the future
