Did anyone hear that Matthew Knowles is crying the race card because Beyonce didn’t win the Golden Globe award that she was up for? What, is he on crack. A total of five African Americans won awards that night. I saw the movie. Her singing was great, but her acting just is not that good. She needs to step out of her element and take on more dramatic and serious roles if she wants to be taken seriously as an actress. And that still won’t guarantee her an Oscar nomination or an award. Maybe she and her father will realize now that the movie business is a totally different ball game. They don’t care about popularity.

She's an awful actress. She might be a good singer and all but an actress shes not lol In this day and age, you really cant use the race card on awards any longer. He just sounds foolish now and it would be wise for her to keep her dad away from any cameras if she doesnt want to become the laughing stock of hollywood lol

If this is true he needs to shut up. And I don't see how he can play the race card when, Forrest Whitaker, Will Smith, Jennifer Hudson, and Eddie Murphy all got nominated and three of them won. Personally I don't think Beyonce deserved a Golden Globe. The character she plays is so much like herself. If she wants to win a Golden Globe or Oscar she has to step outside herself. She can't play a role that is so similar to herself.

I have not heard anything like that but I would not be surprised.
Why do all singers want to be actors and all actors want to be singers? Stick to what you know.
I saw Dreamgirls and seriously - I was not impressed by her performance. Certainly did not garner a Best Actress nomination for a Golden Globe.

Beyoncee is spoiled. Her Dad probably gave her everything she wanted as a child. But unfortunately he can't buy get her acting skills.
Shame on him if he's using the race card for that. When people use the race card for dumb reasons, the media shouldn't even validate it by giving it a voice in radio or print.

I haven't heard that. Now I have seen Beyonce act before. (I haven't seen DreamGirls). And her acting skills, to me, are just mediocre. She needs some acting lessons or she should just stick to music. But she did say she wishes to win an Oscar, Tony, and Grammy.

llol...i agree. but only reason he's crying is because back in the day beyonce was claiming one day she'll win an ocsar because that was her real dream etc etc etc. he's just lobbying for her.
i personally say YOU HAVE TO HAVE TALENT BEFORE YOU CAN START ASKING FOR OSCARS.

She is a good singer, but she doesn't have much charisma for someone so good looking and I don't think she has much potential as an actress.

i seen dream girls it was a good movie. her acting wasn't all that great. she barely had any lines. she just gave a whole lot of looks.
