Well, depends on where "public places" are. The national parks and forests are public places, and most people just go naturally. I was in Yellowstone last year, had far too few real restrooms or even pit toilets, so I am sure a lot just go in to the trees. No choice. I have been to alot of cities where they have very few places to go, and most businesses don't want you there unless you are buying something, can't understand why anyone would live in these big cities just for that reason. No place to pee.

1. By displaying signboards showing that we human beings are not like other animals.
2. By taking up massive awareness programmes frequently.
3. By instructing local authorities to build and maintain public urinals/ toilets in as much as public places as possible and by roadsides. Timer-machines should be fixed in all these units for automatic cleaning and flushing.

People usually use the "public" potty because they really gotta go and a restroom is not available.
This is a big complaint from club areas located within neighborhoods when the clubs did not provide sufficient parking. The patrons leave the bar and walk several blocks to their car. Now they're in a private neighborhood, gotta go, and no potty.
So, at least in this situation, you can stop it by providing sufficient parking for your patrons.

cASTRATE THEM. Joke apart the Government must realize that passing urine is not a despicable act. People should be provided with proper toilet facilities, neat and clean to ease themselves. Do you know that the culture of an individual is revealed by the way he maintains the toilet?

I wouldn't be complaining too much. I've been to other countries where people are using a river as a latrine and a few miles down that same river a local restaurant is using the river water to wash dishes.

Good question..
" It looks ugly , when others do it... but what if you are in a situation where things can't be controlled ..you will think its ok."
Well.. the answer lies in building and maintaining good hygienic amenities in major areas of the cities/towns... and it should be at a premium..
I bet people will like to relieve themselves at a better place.. than embarrassment.(don't expect a revolution)

By compelling through public demand, the local authority, to build and MAINTAIN decent public toilets atleast one in 1 km radius in every town and thereafter by adequately fining the offenders.
BUT i personally wonder, toilets no doubt they can build overnight because contractors gain - Maintanance????? Million dollars question - and the likely chance is that the offenders who have been fined might sue YOU and ME in courts for compelling them to urinate in artificial stinking hell. YOU for giving thought and ME for my solution :::)))lol:)

May be we can try to post scouts n guides from school as part of their curriculum. I know that it is the meanst thing to do. Imposing fine n strict action from police n some value education to the grownups as well as to the school n college goings would help to some extent.
