Would you rather be the most popular person on earth or the most intelligent person on earth?

I'd rather be the most intelligent person on earth. Intelligence can solve many problems, whereas popularity tends to cause them.
Being popular brings with it an emptiness that I don't think I could handle. It also depends upon the cooperation of others and thus takes away a person's self-reliance. Intelligence comes from within and is dependent only upon the individual.

neither, there would be way too many problems associated being the most intelligent or popular...I'd rather be a mix between like the 455th most popular and the 386th most intelligent person on earth...

Well the popular answer will be the most intelligent so then you can figure out how to be the most popular. Screw that Popular is way more fun that being too smart. That's all I did in high school was try to be popular, Its freaking hard and I was only mildly successful. It did however give me the people/social skill to have a very nice career in sales.

Neither. I don't want to be the most ANYTHING in the world.
I'm perfectly happy being just very intelligent and not popular at all. I appreciate my privacy and I have a comfortable number of good friends, thank you very much.

Intelligent. Intelligent people are popular. They're respected. And, if they're really intelligent, they'll know how to be popular, or they may be smart enough not to care.
