He knows Moneywood will support him even if he is an idiot. My liberal friends said they saw the Gore Warming movie but turned off the sound and just watched it with the subtitles on and still don't fully agree with what he said.
They should have renamed it to 'An Inconvenient Narration'.

You answered your own question very well you could add that it was the only way for this man to reenter politics after the humiliating defeat he suffered at the hands of Bush. He had to get back into the political arena given the fact the he has never had another job.
Another question you might ask about Gore the Green is why is he asking the American people to make such Draconian sacrifices when he owns four luxury houses (starting at 10,000 square feet) and flies around in a private jet to support his environmental movie.

It dove tails perfectly with the liberal belife that man is God, His position calls for more government controll of goods and services, less freedom for the individual and higher taxes to grant favors for some at the expence of others. What elese would you expect from the likes of Gore. PS when will someone in the main stream media ask Gore when he abandoned hie next ice age prattle of the 70's

Every liberal scientist that has reported on this says "in theory" they believe we are in a period of global warming. The liberal media will not cover the scientist with evidence showing this is a cycle that has been happening for centuries way before the jet and the auto. The liberal scientists claim that methane is a leading cause of global warming and we now know that cows and other plant eating animals are a leading cause of this gas. I wonder how the environmentalist will get the PETA groups to agree to killing off all those animals to stop the gas release.

So he and the other libs can tax us more to death. It's just a big scam. There might be a bit of global warming but if there is, even the dems agree that it has been going on for thousands of years---long before humanity has had the ability to create it. Also, if there is global warming, libs exaggerate it to an extent until it is almost embarrassing how wrong they are. Sea level aren't going to rise 20 ft in 100 years!!! They have barely raised a single foot in the past century! People just believe anything the libs say and don't bother to find anything out for themselves! Oh well.

Because he is a moron. In the early 70's it was seen by the leading scientists that the world was going into it's natural cycle of warming which happens about every 100,000 years. After that information came out, everyone wanted to try to blame it on something else... How did the Ice melt from the ice age??? Gee we weren't around then.

I think he is pushing the agenda so much because people like most of you that responded to this question came up with youthful arrogant i don't care B$. You all are so caught up in trying to be popular yourselves you think anyone will do anything if it gets them attention.

2There are places in the world where there is so much pollution that most people wear doctors mask when walking outside. Places where the heat is constantly on the rise and breaking new records.
3Look at the news, three days ago 170 scientists said that the Bush administration forced them to DOWNPLAY global warming.
4Bush himself rejected a cap of carbon emissions in the U.S. and said that they would lower carbon emission 5% by 2020. (With the people who are already starting to use energy efficiency Bush will have completed that objective without lifting a finger.)
5These new markets will only go to create jobs for people.
6Nobody is asking you to do anything. The demands are going out to the companies, and the manufacturing plants that recklessly dump waste and use in-efficient power sources, and send nastiness up into the air, because it costs them less money to do so.
These are companies like the auto manufacturers in America that continue to produce gas guzzling inefficient trucks and cars that are earning a lower and lower market share to imported cars that have an average 10miles per gallon rating higher than us. This is the problem, corporate greed in america, companies passing the bills onto the people that invest in them by giving americans shoddier parts and camoflaguing it with a big manly engine.
