Buddy, you've stumped me on a butternut squash!
What comes to mind though is rubbing butter on the barracks and when the soldier is standing at attention you knock his block off! LoL!

I've grown a lot of butternuts, but never seen one I would call "too big."
You just halve them, add your butter & brown sugar and pop them in the oven...

When it doesnt fit in your oven ,that would be a little too big, I think.
