I have to agree my second pregnancy was a nightmare for 4 months . I felt sick 24/7 even after being prescribed tablets by my doctor to stop it. I had no energy and looked like I had been pulled through a hedge constantly. I couldn't eat ,drink or sleep properly through feeling so rundown. I just lost all zest for life. Unfortunately my pregnancy didn't go to full term as i was in a accident and I lost the baby . However my first pregnancy was so easy I loved being pregnant and was rewarded with a lovely little girl ,mind you she's a teenager now and full of attitude :). The best of luck with your pregnancy and just think how it is all worth it when the little one is born . xx

My second pregnancy was an absolute nightmare from beginning ('morning sickness' 24 hours a day for the whole 9 months) to end (baby was premmy and in SCBU for a while). But I think it does depend but also you can't just put your feet up when you want to or stay in bed for a lye in and do nothing when you've another to keep amused. I feel for you and hope that it all settles down. I have to say though, I wasn't sure if second or other pregnancies was as magical but I can say it is. Maybe more so. To see the face of your first when they see your baby, feel it kick, hold it for the first time is just magical. Good luck.

Mine has been worse than my first. The morning sickness this time around was so horrible. I've also have been sent to the hospital twice so far because my doctor thought that something was wrong. Plus I had to get an ultrasound to make sure the baby was alright (Since I am carrying small).
My first son I didn't really have any morning sickness. Maybe threw up once and that was it. And there were no complications the rest of the pregnancy

My first pregnancy was much worse i was soooo sick with morning sickness i ended up in hospital, the second was easier but that might have been because i had the first one to look after and didn't have time to feel sorry for myself and just had to get on with it. Sorry you are feeling bad i hope you feel better soon and congratulations.

Well, I think it has something to do with everything already being stretched out once, so it can only stretch more. I could barely walk by the end of my second pregnancy, since my pubic bone separated. You are also already dealing with one child, so you can't devote as much attention to yourself the second time around.

When you are expecting your first baby it is fear of the unknown. However, when you are having a second baby you know what is in front of you and what to expect, it gives you a little fear now and again. Don't worry though because the midwives and doctors have all that technology on their side they know what they are doing and you will be fine.

I've had 2 babies, and didn't have a problem with either. Everyone's body is different. Try and enjoy your pregnancy, it'll soon be over. Good luck.

My second pregnancy was better by far: I new what was going on and what to expect and was far more relaxed about it.

I don't think this is true. But, I think for some people, they are older and tired from dealing with another child, so it makes it more difficult.
