I am taking a class and disagree with the basic premise and research done by the presenter. I need to know if you are male or female and whether you would rather be loved or respected.

The premise of the class is that woman want love and men want respect from their spouses. If you can just pick one and not elaborate I'll be able to use your input! Thank you!

Female,I would rather be respected then loved,you can be loved by anything,but respect you have to earn that, and that to me means more than life itself.Well honey,I wish you all the luck with this.

I'm male, and I would rather be loved, because to love someone includes to have respect. Otherwise it's not love, just affection or attraction.

Well personally I don't think you can love someone if you don't respect them. With regards to people don't love me, I would hope they respect me.
