You can't, but he can. You can use a Title Company and have them do a Quit Claim Deed into both your names. This changes ownership not a loan. It will cost you a different amount depending on where you live. So Call a local Title Company.

It will cost a little more, but you could get a real estate attorney to have your name added to the title. This may not be needed though, since you're married. If you live in a community property state, whenever he goes to sell it, the check from the title company will be made out to the two of you.

Hire an attorney to draft up a new deed with both of your names on it. You don't even need to sign it, only he does (before a notary public) and then file it with your county clerk's office. Piece of cake! It's a pretty hefty filing fee though, in NY it's $121.00.

call your local city hall or county deeds office...they will tell you how much it will cost to change a deed. it depends on the area and city.
