I watched it on Spooks a boy who had photographic memory and remembered these important codes by rading of a sheet of a paper what i wanted to no as well was what happend in your head do you actually see the photo you take with your mind. Like the words running across the page and is it true that most of our great artisits had a photographic memory and used different pictures in there minds to make some abstract and well stange paintings.

I find it easier to remember in pictures, so I made up diagrams, flow charts etc when revising for my science A levels- I definately found this easier when I got into the exams!
Why did you ask about exams when you weren't asking about them?
If you just meant what was it like having a photographic memory, you could have said.

Yes, I do have a photographic memory and it did help when revising for exams. It did come pretty easily when doing exams, but only through learning the content thoroughly. You have to make sure you do this, otherwise you'll remember what the pages look like but not what's on it!

I have photographic memory. people that i have lived with in the past have always depended on me to help them find lost items.
If i go away for a while from work or home and come back i can tell if someone has been sitting at my desk or using my personal items . Doesnt matter if they put it back exactly the same i can tell it has been moved a lil in relation to the last "mental pic" that i took.

I have a really good memory though I wouldn't say its photographic, rubbing a tiny amount of lavender oil on your temples before an exam helps big time, its good for memory and concentration.

I do.... sort of. If I close my eyes right now, I can see everything exactly the way it was. also, when I have a few minutes (or even seconds to study somthing, I can recall a fair amount of it.
a fun thing to try: put various, random objects on a table. study it. cover it with a sheet/tablecloth. write down how many things you remember. When you are done, check to see what you missed.

ah yes i do, and it can really help for tests. usualy when i come accross questions on a test i almost always remember learning about that praticular topic. often times i would never even study (which i don't reccomend) and still do great on tests/exams.
it also works great for picking up facts quickly.
