I'm like rae...everyday is Earth Day...around the official day, my husband & I will celebrate our wedding anniversary! We haven't planned anything yet but I hope it will involve some yard improvement...I would like to introduce ground cover into our yard and make a better compost pile.
Have to look into native plant species as well as plants for butterflies and birds.

My birthday is the day before Earth Day, so I usually have a little leftover cake to celebrate the planet's holiday. ;)

Every day is Earth day. I put a variety of items out for recycle collection, conserve on water & energy pretty much. I reuse lots of paper by using it for printing on the back side & having it for scratch paper. I do more than one errand when I'm out & about to conserve on fuel & its cost & pollution, also "wear & tear" on my vehicle. There is a service at Unity of Salem each year for it.

I celebrate it every year by going hiking or some other outdoor, fresh air, non-electronic activity!

I will because, its also my 22nd birthday!! I like to do something special for the enviroment every year. Like planting a tree, doing a beach clean up, etc. =)
