Hey, I know what you're going through. I had a MC with my first preg and am now 7 weeks along in my second with no problems so far. I have an internal ultrasound booked for next Tuesday to hopefully hear the heartbeat, and my biggest fear is that it won't get picked up. I will just be a mess if that happens. Unless you've had a MC it's really hard to imagine what someone is feeling, you're soooo scared it's going to happen again, and you just don't know if your heart can handle it.
I agree even though I sound like a hippocrite, try not to stress, if you have no other symptoms of MC then you're probably fine. If the Dr knew how bad you needed to hear the heartbeat he/she might of tried harder, but they do the scans all day, so it doesn't matter to them...BUT IT DOES TO YOU!
The fact that the sac is bigger is a great sign I think, it means bubs is still developing. When I had my MC I had several internal scans and the second one indicated that the sac hadn't grown.
My advise? Ring your doctor and explain your fears, they may order another scan, or tell you that it's really common etc... When I made my booking for the scan the receptionist said the later the scan is, the better chance of hearing the heartbeat.
Best of luck and God bless, you'll be fine.

This time last year, I went through the SAME thing. I went in at 7 weeks and you could see the babies heart beating away! Then, at 11 weeks, we did the doppler and there was no heartbeat. I had no cramps and no bleeding at all. What I had was called a missed miscarriage. My husband and I went home and I cried all night. This stress caused my body to actually miscarry the fetus. I had a d&c done the next day. I am so sorry to tell you this, but it is possable to have a miscarriage with no symptoms. Try to relax and just pray that everything will turn out as God wants it to.

RELAX RELAX RELAX!!!!
The more you stress about it the more your body is going to react, and it's not in a good way.
You need to sit back and breathe. Ok to answer your questions...
It might still be too early to detect the heart beat. You need to listen to your Dr. He/She would have told you what was going on when you were in there having the ultrasound done. If the doc didn't find any thing to be worried about then why are you?
Now about another miscarriage, I'm sorry if this comes a crossed as mean, rude, or cold, but it's the truth.
If your body rejects this baby, m'dear there’s nothing you can do about it. I'm sorry that you've been through this once before really I am. But if you do have another one which I prey you don't, there's nothing you can do. Getting all worked up over it isn't helping either. You need to just relax, and let the days pass as they will. Every thing happens for a reason, and I'm sure if you wait and calm down you and that bun in your oven will be just fine.
Call your dr and let them know how you feel. They're really the only ones who will know for sure if you're ok or not.
Good luck~ you'll be in my thoughts.

in the experience that they imagine she miscarried probability is the docs will supply her the alternative to flow abode and miscarry or to have help doing it. I propose that your spouse wait it out. If a week passes and he or she would not miscarry the toddler on her personal, they'll order yet another ultrasound to work out what is going on. from time to time human beings finally end up seeing a heartbeat at that ultrasound and each little thing is tremendous. even though it type of sounds like the nurse practioner may have considered a heartbeat especially actual by technique of sonogram at 9 a million/2 weeks. i'm so sorry that you men are dealing with this, although that's only a waiting pastime from right here.

Hello, I know you are upset but please try not to be because the baby feels your stress. When I went for my first doctors appointment I was 8 weeks and they could not hear the heartbeat but she said no need to worry sometimes it can not be detected until 10-11 weeks. I was scared just like you, I went 2 weeks later for another appointment and she still could not hear the heartbeat so I was REALLY scared then so she sent me for a sonogram and turns out that I was only 9 weeks the calculations were wrong so that is also a possibility. Good luck just try and relax.

Did they do a blood test? Are you waiting for the results of that?? They would normally do a blood test to determine your HCG levels to see if you're still pg. When I lost a baby, then got pg again, they did something called a trans-vaginal ultrasound. If the Dr couldn't find a heartbeat I would think he would be discussing these things w/ you if he felt there was a problem w/ no heartbeat. If you still feel uncomfortable w/ it, get a second opinion. Good luck and God bless.

When i went for my 12 week check up they couldn't find a heart beat so they had to do an internal exam. Finally they found it but it was hard to hear. The father along i got the stronger the heart beat became. You never really know what's going to happen. So, for right now i want you to try and calm down...extra stress doesn't help. Relax for now, watch your favorite movie, have your favorite ice cream, take a bubble bath, anything to relax.
Hopefully your doc will have you back in the office soon to check again. Try and stay positive...sometimes we worry for nothing.

What did the doctor say? If they couldn't detect the heartbeat they should have done an internal ultrasound. Here is a rule of thumb to go by when pregnant;
If your doctor doesn't seem concerned than you should not worry.

yes i remeber my first child and the fear and panic when the dr told he couldn't find the heart beat. I had to wait a whole month for when my dr came back from vacation and checked it again and found it with some difficulty and explained to me that it was the postion the baby was in. So I know how you feel. The sono says everything is fine. If you are not bleeding everything is fine. I don't know anyone who has had a misscariage and has not bled.there is always blood.

Did the doctor seemed cocerned? if not then don't worry. It can be very difficult to find a heartbeat in the early stages of pregnancy. Do some research on web md or another such site. I hope you have abeautifel healthy baby, but don't stress ok?
