Areas of Upstae New York are expecting up to 100 inches of snow. Do you think they will be concerned about global warming?

Global Warning is something to worry about. It might not end up in 100 inches of snow but it is something that everyone should be watching out for not just New York.

That's funny you should ask. I was in Manhattan a few days ago and I was able to poll every person that lives on that island about global warming. I found out that 1person believes global warming is a problem and 12 do not. Out of the 13 people that live there the majority do not see it as a problem. I go to Rochester and Brewster tomorrow to poll all of there 6 residents about the same thing. I will keep you updated about my results which may be published in the latest Al Gore book (unless of course he can't spin the results).

Um why wouldn't people in upstate New York think that global warming is real? Just because it snows doesnt mean that the average temperature of the planet isnt going up.

I doubt that any of the people in New York will be alive when NYC gets 100 inches of snow...they probably just dont care bc it wont *really* effect them.

Newsweek magazine just came out with a long article stating that 'global worming is real' and that we had better worry. A mainstream magazine, i think will convince anyone.
it's easy for me during a south florida summer to accept this. LOL, LOL

I always was, even on LI.
I don't get people who just stick their head in the sand like a bunch of ostriches, but not everyone had such a bright and geologically trained step-mom like I did.
