In America, millions of people come from all over the world, and over time most of them come to think of themselves as Americans. Their experience suggests that becoming Americans is less a function of birth or blood and more a function of embracing a set of ideas and a way of life. Our Country does not extend rights to groups, only to individuals; in this way, all are equal in the eyes of the law, opportunity is open to everyone who can take advantage of it, and everybody who embraces the law and the American way of life can “become American.” The American way of life…. is based on a guiding set of principles which include equality, pursuit of happiness, the ethics of work, Religious Liberty, Ideals and Interests…and as the Pledge of Allegiance sates…Justice and Freedom for all…no matter what your gender, race, Color, faith, ethnic background, economic status, political affiliation, origin of Birth or sexual orientation..this is supposed to hold true in America…

The media makes a speciality of American lifeless in an attempt to embarrass and harass George Bush relating to the Iraq conflict. all people with a concepts of their physique realizes that there must be collateral deaths and injuries in conflict, there is not any way around it. it rather is regrettable, yet a certainty of conflict. yet you have have been given to bear in concepts that a majority of the Iraqi civilians killed in this conflict have been killed via vehicle-bombs and suicide bombers. those are no longer the accountability of the yank militia, yet of the insurgents interior the rustic attempting to coach the Iraqis against American squaddies and the hot Iraqi government. those comparable insurgents additionally combat from colleges whilst they are in consultation, from mosques, and from in the back of the skirts of Iraqi women individuals with their infants. So loosen up, in the previous we choose that we don't care in case you reside or die!

The "American way of life" is a vague term whose meaning changes according to who's referring to it. On the whole, though, I think that people use the term to refer to such things as democracy and freedom of speech and other things guaranteed by the US Constitution.

Most people would say it is having a job that allows a person to be able to afford a house (ideally) or apartment. It means having the ability to gain an education and to pursue the career of your choice. It means having the freedom to attend religious services or ignore them completely. It means being able to criticize the government without repercussions. It means taking the responsibilites of citizenship--paying taxes, voting, etc.
