Sometimes they reissue books which she wrote, other times they are written by other people, but using her characters. For instance, I bought a book that was supposed to be about the third form at St. Clare's. While Ms. Blyton wrote one book for each form for her Mallory Towers series, she skipped over the third form for her St. Clare's series. Whoever tried to write this new book tried to fit into the style of Ms. Blyton's writing, they failed. Whereas I reread my Enid Blyton books, I've never reread that thing!

Some may be reissues of the original stories - they do new editions every so often. Others - eg the new St Claire's stories - are written using Enid Blyton's world by a different author (fanfiction you get paid for!)
