IF ITS EFI YOU CAN NOT ADJUST IT IS CONTROLD BY THE
COMPUTER AND PRESET IF YOUR IDLE TO HIGH OR LOW
WITH OUT THE CHECK LIGHT COMING ON YOU POSABLY
YOU HAVE A VACCUM HOSE LEAK OR YOUR TPS.
THROTLE POSION SENSOR IS IN NEED OF ATENTION

Check the timing.. if allthings are normal (timing belt not changed, etc) then most likely the distributer needs adjusted

its retained by a 13mm bolt holding a fork around the distributer shaft losining that bolt and turning the distriputer a hair or two will bump the idle.. but i would stick a timing light on it first and see if it is actually at 12 degrees advanced... remember to umplug the coolent temp sensor plug to reset it to base timing before you do anything

Depends on what year--the early one with carb and fuel injection had a screw--both on the cable stops.Some of the last ones you set the idle speed with a down-loader. would be helpful if you gave a year of the car, turbo--non turbo,and engine size
