If you work Monday through Thursday, can your employer legally change your schedule, to Tuesday through Saturday?

Depends on which State you work in. If the state you work in is classified as an "At-Will-State", then yes. You have no power. Try the sites below for research on this matter. Hope this helps.

Well yeah. Of course they can.
Some places have rules which determine such things...such as where i work. They have to give you 24 hours notice before any mandatory change in your schedule such as overtime or whatever. But thats a union place. If you are non union they could tell you that you have to work 24 hours straight and you cant do anything about it other than quit.

His business and he can staff and schedule hours anyway he likes. As long as he pays you for the hours that are worked, there is no problem..............

yea they are your employer. if that schedule doesn't work for you then let them know and maybe they will switch it back

Yes, but they are suposed to give you two weeks notice before hand.

They are your boss they can have you work whenever they want its your choice to refuse. Wouldn't recommened it if you want to keep your job though
