To be the best dad I can be.

That includes a whole litany of things, including; enough financial resources to provide them a nice roof over their heads, patience to deal with their whining, love to give them a shoulder to cry on, the sternness to not try to be their buddy but to be their dad, the wisdom to answer questions like "why is the sky blue" or "where do babies come from (whether it's my 7yo or 13yo asking), time to be there for their sporting events, skills to be able to cook a good meal or help them with their homework, and chivalry to be a good example of how a man should treat a woman.

Is all that too greedy?

World peace. I'm perfectly serious. My life's going along just fine, and my relatives are doing okay, too, but I have to worry about what some power-drunk old men and women who don't even know me from Eve are going to do with their damned weapons. And the thing is, I don't think the average Iranian or Afghani or North Korean or Iraqi really wants to hurt anyone, either. I think they just want peace, too.

That every country would get along. I guess that's like saying world peace...but I feel that we can learn so much from one another. I have a deep yearning to travel the world, and write. I see so many possibilities...if we could only help each other out a bit!
