I want to take the ram from one computer and put it in the other.

What do i Need to know?

If you already have a ram card in which i am assuming you will do have a look at the card and it should have a sticker on it, put the details into Google and it will tell you what speed its is and all the other detials you need to be looking for.

My personal opinion - by the sound of your question, you should not be doing this. RAM is random access memory. It is a chip. If you don't know how to remove or install a chip, I suggest you go to a pro.

If you go to crucial.com you can find out a lot about what your computers should have or can hold. You should also check your system profile to find out just what you have.
