this is the first time i've been all on my own for valentines for 4 and a half years :( what bout you's any lonely hearts out there?!?!?

I've been alone on Valentines Day for years. No biggie, just another day.
I think it's the cosmos's way of balancing out those years in my twenties when I'd get all sorts of stuff from a bunch of different guys on valentines. It was flattering, but really embarrassing to get 4 or 5 bouquets from different men paraded through the office to my desk, not to mention the cards and all the anonymous stuff left on my car at classes and even slipped into my bag.
I guess I was much cuter than I realized back then...

Eh, don't worry about it too much, Valentine's Day is more of a commercial opportunity than anything else these days with all the V-day merchandise that companies try to sell. I've been on my own for Valentine's day for the past four or five years, you get used to it. You'll probably even tend to like it since you won't be wasting money on useless junk that she will only fleetingly appreciate before she wants something else.

no in american speak its a coprate holiday...made by those people who invented santa clause one boring old christmas. This day is pulled on those people have no one looking jealous at those who do. Its also to make some money. A gift given for no reason or no occasion is alot more thoughtful than one cheaply and quickly bought for valentines.

This is my second Valentines actually being with somebody. Last year with my fiance, which is this year my husband. :)
