To answer AlphaMale's response, the KKK was created out of White's frustration with the economic and social end of their way of life (following The Civil War and Reconstruction) and the preceived advancement of Blacks as their equals. Most had their roots in Freemasonry and they were Confederate Separatists/Nationalists that operated outside of American Govt, remember they seceded from the Union and created their own country, literally(which was outside of the workings of "Republican" and "Democrat" at that time).
Many were former slave catchers that used their old, familiar terror tactics to keep the populace in line and set the stage for the next 100 years of Segregation's Jim Crow laws and behaviors. For any person that took American History in high school or took up a similar discipline in college (Political Science undergrad, here) it is EXCEPTIONALLY common knowledge that the PRESENT DAY parties only have their NAMES in common with their old party, the values and positions are different.

A Republican today would die if their president or government took away his property and livelihood away because it was immoral and violated another persons civil liberties. Just like Lincoln did to the South.

As for disclosure, crooks, cowards, and the Klan ( all are interchangable titles) wear masks for a reason, fear of reprisal for an action that is criminal by law and society. Secrecy and deception are the tools of their trade, they don't know any other way. I prefer to know my enemy, but TERRORISTS can't be as affective, if you know which individuals are more inclinded to attack.

You know, the same party that was AGAINST freeing the slaves.

A lot of you libs weren't taught that in school, mainly because the school system is controlled by libs.... Same reason why evolution is taught as a fact.

I think all groups like KKK and MEChA should have protected speech so long as their speech stays in protected categories (fomenting riots doesn't fall into a protected category.)

However, a sneaky voice in the back of my head thinks they all belong in a closet together, and when the noise stops we can take out the bodies and bury them.
