Many years ago, a judge told my cousin that. Now he is an upstanding citizen with a family. Need I say that he chose the Marines?

Is it really a good idea to give some one who broke the law a firearm that might injure himself or the public?

It is possibly to believe that alot of hardened criminals might reject the idea of being disciplined. Being a marine is a mature choice; It is not for the boyish in character but for those who seek to be men of true merit and courage. I say if they choose the service, not just the marines, there should be a special branch made for them. There are some good men beneath those hard exteriors.

I like the idea we could screen them and only use the ones that did not kill just to kill, rapist est, child molesters, everyone else into the military front line why should we put our law abiding citizens in harms way and if they make it back we would let them go free this is a good idea If I were president I would make that stick oh back to the Killers ,rapist and child molesters I would hang them all with in thirty days of the verdict

That is the choice for a lot of young men and women.

Draftees and other forms of 'forced' soldiers are bad soldiers. They had a lot of them in WWII: my dad said they had to let a lot go. No esprit-de-corp.
