I just moved to Lake Havasu from Nevada and I love it. My husband grew up here, so we decided to buy a home here. There are a lot of "snowbirds" during the winter, but it's pretty nice. I love the climate, it's mid-winter and I'm wearing shorts and a T-shirt. Gotta love it!!!

I like Havasu but if I may make a suggestion, if you are planning a trip, rent a houseboat on Powell instead, it's much better and that way you can avoid at least some of the teenagers, and you can wake up and dive into the water first thing in the morning, without having to drive from the hotel. I think that it's definetely worth the trip, even though I only live a couple of hours away.

Lots of snowbirds, I travel thru 2X a year on my way from Las to Yuma. We always stop to see the london bridge and have a beer there. its a L O N G city, on the Colorado river. I think 9 miles from North to south, on AZ hyw 95. never been there during spring break tho. I like it. If i could find work there I would move.
