Billy was back right around the time John died. He works for Jabot and it currently in China, living at Mr. Kims penthouse. Mac went to New Orleans to live with her father because JT broke up with her because she was pregnant and had a miscarriage and didn't tell him about it. That's why she sold her share of the coffee house to Kevin. If you are asking what happened that they are not together anymore it's because they found out they were cousins.

They found out that they're related and broke up. Billy's Mom Jill discovered she's Katherine's daughter, and Katherine is Mack's grandmother. eek!
They had this new guy playing Billy on the show a couple months back, but he didn't last because he was awful (in my opinion!).
Mac went to New Orleans to work with her Dad, Brock, I think.
