So I asked my wife what she wanted to do for Valentine's day and she said "surprise me!"

So now I'm really at a loss. I mean, I want it to be a GOOD surprise, but being a dude (and therefore being femininely impaired) I'm not sure what to do :(

i would love for my husband to plan a night for us with no help from me where he cooked dinner he set up a romantic night candles, rose petals, wine bubble bath and buy me something sexy to put on. that would really blow mind i sure it would blow hers. and remember no telephone or tv just soft music. got it????? The simple things you do makes the big picture so much better. The woman who loves you don't want much but the gold digging woman will take all that you have. Start out small and by your 5th year go for the gusto!!!!

Depends...do you guys have kids together?
If so wake her up with a great breakfest in bed and give her a gift certificate to a local spa where you watch the kids and take her out for a romantic dinner that night....maybe even a show....like wicked or something cool like that
If you don't have kids pretty much the same idea although I would change the morning plans to where you guys go to a romantic place during the day - perhaps a cool museum. Do small things throughout the day...kiss her hand hold her hand buy her a rose....etc at night light the room with candles and the rest will take care of itself...

Make dinner and clean up the house so she doesn't have to do it (if she's the one that does the cleaning, and even if not, it might eliminate stress if the house looked nice.) Also, don't spend a ton of money, and maybe buy a few nice flowers that you picked out yourself and put in a nice vase on the table, light a few candles and put out the good dishes. TRUST ME - it's how much time you put into thinking of what she wants that will win her over, not how much money you spend or how fancy your gift is. Just let her know you love and appreciate her, and that will go a long way - GOOD LUCK!

I would love to get roses at work! I haven't had that in years and it is fun as the day goes by and the deliveries come in to finally get one. Of course my anniversary and birthday are next month so I likely won't get much for VDay and will get a blowout the weekend of brithday and anniversary. We are planing a weekend get away, maybe to a B&B or maybe to a plush hotel with all the amenities (not sure, hubby is picking) and a nice dinner out. A time to relax and be a couple. My mom is going to keep our son so this is a very big deal for us. Maybe a nice romantic escape for your VDay? Some B&B's are running great specials this coming weekend-good luck.

Dinner, be it homemade or out at a favorite intimate spot, flowers any kind they dont have to be roses or expensive,
a little romance, or at least a little cuddling.
And say I love you to her first.. before she can say it to you!
happy valentines day

A certificate that he will do the dishes, and clean the house for a month. Forget the flowers...I will just have to clean up after they wilt. Hey, I am a realist...not a romantic.
