How does a man get so mentally confused that he thinks he is not in love anymore?

His interest in you drops into the low 40% range. How do you kill interest? No integrity (actions speak differently than words?), disrespecting him, nagging him, general bad attitude, poor grooming, no affection, no romance, inflexible (always about you?), too needy (does he have 'me' time?).
The good thing with men (as opposed to women) is that sometimes... if his interest isn't in the 30% range yet, you can correct things and bring his interest in you back up, and you should do these things anyway so that one day you can get a good man.
If his interest is in the low 30s though, you're toast. If you have broken up or divorced, it's too late. Give it up and move on. Just fix yourslef.

He gets weak and lets some lowlife homewrecker manipulate him into thinking he don't love his wife.

you have to go by what your heart tells you not your mind. you heart will know if your in love or not.
