Where you live might help us to help you; in the meantime, have you talked to the financial office at the hospital to see if they have suggestions? They might have some programs that can help or send you to orginizations to assist?

Some hospitals abide by laws that state they have to accept any and all regardless of finances. You could apply for financial help through the hospital, now if this is for a cosmetic procedure or elective surgery(not life threatening)then you will likely be denied help, otherwise, there shouldn't be a problem.

where do you live? There are lots of opportunities here in the US for assistance. My Son had surgery last year and the total cost of EVERYTHING was $5

In Houston, TX. we have a County Hospital that serves low income patients. Check your area to see if your state offers the same.

talk to your hospitals financial office about "charity care". my parents have a limited income and my step-dad was able to get a kidney transplant without any out of pocket expenses
