What is few showers?

im having a party on saturday and i looked at the yahoo weather an it said "few showers" what does that mean? is it going to rain a lot or just a little bit?

A few showers to me means off and on rain, but not all day. Kind of like saying partly cloudy.

you may have a few showers; infrequent but heavy rain. You should be ok. Just keep the noise down, I'm trying to sleep!
