what size of fonts are you using in your microsoft word? usually sizes 8 below are so small, while sizes 13-16 are large fonts. 9-12 are just right. sometimes we zoom the window for ms word and think that what we see is the size of what we will print.. we will have to make sure that the font size in MS word Format>Fonts>Size settings is set to 12 or bigger to give you larger font size.

if not, there must be something wrong in the printer settings..

hope this helped!

Fonts set in Word are supposed to override the default of your printer.

Select your text in Word. Click Format, cl Font. Choose a font, size, color, then click o.k.

If you want to change your normal.dot (Word's default template) go to File, Page Setup, set margins. Then, go to Format, Font, choose the font you want for default, and at the bottom left of the window, click default. Click Yes to have your normal.dot changed to reflect the settings you have just made.

try checking to see if you have the right printer drivers. Most the time wrong drivers will cause this.
