I have costody of our 8 year old daughter and my ex is supposed to pay one half of the premium for insurance and one half of what is not covered.My ex will soon have a lisence to cut hair and do nails but I am afraid that she will report nothing and therefore never pay.

Go to the Child support enforcement in ur area they will help u , they will take her back to court , make sure she pays what is owed, just keep really good records of everything thats owed to u.. so u can prove it when they take her to court, they can suspend her license, they can put a lein against any property that she owns untill she pays u what she owes u..

The first thing you have to do is take her to small claims court and get a judgement against her for what she owes you. Once you have a judgement, you can file to have her wages garnished or even take her income tax return. If you know she is making money and not reporting it to the IRS, you can call the IRS and they will audit her. Good Luck.

I believe that you need to go back to the court to find out how it is enforced. The Clerk-of-court should be able to help.
If she has not been working you could help by giving her a little time to get herself organized.

If she doesn't pay, you go back to the court and tell them that she is in contempt of court for not following the court order.

She may do that and there is really not much you can do..believe me i understand fully. Take care of your daughter which will not be easy on your own but you can do it.. There are many ways people avoid paying child support and honestly it is the governments fault.

Geez you haven't give her a chance to even get a paycheck, least you can do is give her a chance. How did you get custody? I can't see a mother not paying for her child.

Have the courts garnish her wages.
