There is software that will allow you to record an incoming stream of audio, then burn it in music CD format, but you'd also need the correct hardware. You need a tape player with a headphone jack, a 1/8" to 1/8" stereo cord, a sound card (on the computer) with a "line-in" slot, and a CD burner. If you have all of those, you hook the cord up to the player and the computer, and use recording software, such as the free one found here . Install the software, start the recording, and hit "play" on the tape. Then burn the resulting files onto a CD (if you're looking for an audio CD and your burning progam doesn't automatically convert them to the correct format - wav - then you'll need to ensure that you save the files in wav format)

Get a cassette to CD converter at Cartridge America.com That's all I could see that looked like what you want.

the main suitable way that i will think of of is to link your tape recorder on your laptop via the ext.speaker / line out jack on your laptop's line in / mic jack. Play the tapes whilst recording it on your laptop with application like Audacity. good luck
