Global warming is an indisputable fact. It simply means that the average temperature around the world has gone up and is continuing to go up. Global warming is the world's temperature, not your local weather forecast. So people can't dispute global warming because it's cold outside today (in the middle of winter). While it does affect local climates, it does so differently depending on where you live.
The overall change of world temperature is melting the ice in the glaciers and at the poles. Some have completely disappeared in my life time. The number one effect of global warming is rising sea levels. Therefore, people on islands and on the coasts need to move uphill and inland.
The political debate is about whether it's man made and if can we hang on to our oil habits. While global warming would have happened anyway, it would have been much slower. Human behavior has accelerated global warming and there's no turning back. However we should cut back on pollutants for our health.

Global warming is happening, and it's something that always happens to this Earth, but the problem now is we (humans) are accelerating this process and melting Iceland and the Antarctic way too fast. This will cause our planet's oceans to warm up even more because water takes in heat and the ice that was there before used to bounce the suns radiation back into space. So in return our sea level is going to rise anywhere from 22 feet all the way up to a possible 150 feet..That's enough to take out millions or even billions of people..

There is no believing in global warming. Some how crazy Bush has convinced people it is just a theory... it is not a theory, it is happening right now and humans are responsible for it.

Evidence is a lot stronger than economically-dictated political spin, no?
What do you see?
Who stands to gain if they make you NOT believe it?
Think for yourself.
You will see that money is behind the media,
and truth in front of your doorstep.

Snow in Phoenix, 20+ degrees below 0 in the midwest...

No - I don't believe in global warming and if Gore really did - he'd stop flying around in a private jet.
