This astronaut who their telling this mediocre story about all over the news...

I just think it's a little weird but not that interesting... I think it would be a more interesting story if it turned out that she was the victim of NASA trying to discredit her because she knows too much.

And I say - if you got the diapers, use them!

Right now I'm thinking that the gossipy story being put out by the police and the media is probably accurate. You can't really tell they're cooking something up unless they pile it on to the point where it becomes obviously implausible.

On the other hand, Lisa Nowak is a wife, a mother, a decorated Navy captain, a test pilot, and an astronaut. You don't get that far in life if you're mentally unstable or prone to odd behavior.

She's smart enough to know that crimes such as those of which she's accused would undo all her success and topple her to the bottom of the social ladder. It's hard to imagine anybody risking so much for an affair.

She must have wondered, too, what effect the exposure of her crimes would have on her family; what her husband would think of her for adultery, what her children would think of her for felonious conduct. And that's in addition to the possibility of a dishonorable discharge from the Navy and a cancelation of her status as an astronaut. Odd, to say the least. Even a jealous woman would pause at risks that big.

Also, why would anyone bent on kidnapping or murder wear diapers ON THE APPROACH? That's when you haven't really done anything bad yet, so the cops aren't looking for you yet, so you have time to maneuver, case the joint, think things over, and visit the bathroom.

Still, pending further thought and/or evidence, I think Mrs. Nowak may be guilty as charged.

I don't think so. Seems to me its a case of hormones overriding intelligence and common sense once again.

At least they weren't trapped up in the space station when she flipped out!

No, I think she was obsessed with a man who didn't care much for her and she put more into it than was there.
