Gee I wonder why? I don't think that either gender likes it when they get cheated on. Its not just women that take it personally. I like telling someone they aren't good enough for you and so you have to have someone else.

We get upset and hurt because we feel betrayed and like we are not good enough for our husbands or man. Would you not be hurt if you were cheated on by your wife or woman in your life or do you just not have any feelings or emotions at all? This is a big deal to get cheated on just like it is a BIG deal if the guy is the one being cheated on... Come on you really need to get a life and care about how other people feel about things and not just your feelings and what you think. You seem selfish.

The underlying answer is evolution based. Women who pass their genes onto their daughters have successfully brought up their children. This means they probably had a partner who stuck with them in a relationship and helped bring up the children and support the mother. The fear of abandonment is both an emotional and an instinct carved into our DNA and our cultural set of morals.
There is also the social aspect a woman's status in society is partly based on how she is seen by her peers. Having her guy cheat on her, lowers her status as perceived by others and her own self esteem. She may even by marginalised by other females, as being a female without a male she becomes a threat to the stability of their own relationships.
Society has changed, women no longer face destitution if they have no partner, and relationships do not necessarily lead children being born - so the original source of the concerns is much weaker nowadays. However emotions, instinct and cultural moral codes change slowly and this is why it can be so devastating.

*Don't like my feelings and emotions stomp on and thrown into the trash.

*Proves their choice in the male was a mistake as the male provided evidence he is worthless.

*Lets face it, rejection.

*Trust is damaged.

You are not a wise guy for asking such a question. It is not that easy to go from a relationship that a lot of emotion, trust and hard times and then jump into another relationship in fear of that person hurting her again. No one likes to be hurt and if can't trust the person you are with, then who can you trust? It ties into sociological, behavioral and emotional mentality that can change a person's way of life.

There is most who do move on. Can't forget, but can move on. Then there is others who has been stomp on so much that they loose their self worth.....which is sad to watch what they will do to get that attention they are lacking.

What happened, you got caught cheating and are trying to justify it?

Cheating is cheating and it hurts guys the same as girls. The big deal is you lead someone on they are special to you and then break that trust.

I hope your girlfriend has a brother that will kick you butt for being so stupid.

BOTH men and women hate to be cheated on. Yes, it is a form of rejection. It's an emotional rejection. I don't know anyone who thinks it's not a big deal unless you're a player.

Because your trust has been broken and that is very hard to get back , their is a thing called betrayal , and hurt because you thought that the person was only sleeping with you just stop and think about things a little before. How many girls do you slepted with ? ok now every girl you ever slepted with your wife or what ever you just made her sleep with every one of them increasing the chances of her caching some bad like V.D and ect.and DO NOT FORGET ABOUT AIDS do you want that ?, Yes and every guy she has slepted with in the passed you slepted with ever one of them too so think first before some eles spreds that **** around ok

Look up the word CHEAT in the dictionary. It always involves lying and sneaking around. Isn't this a big deal for guys?

B/c we view it as being played, cause, it looks like the guy only wants the girl just to say that he has one. We don't like being treated like we are whores. ya, to some girls, it is a big hit to their ego. But others like me will just find some way to get back at them.
