Headlight 1999 bmw 328i?

Is is possible to take off the headlight to cleaner the inside, their is some dirt in the interior plastic. thanks

the correct answer is yes, and it isn't that hard, doesn't require a heat gun or baking in the oven. (although, some BMWs do have headlights you have to melt the glue in order to disassemble, like the Z3)

1999 is a transitional year, so depending on the manufacturing month, you may have a E36 328i or a E46 328i. Since I don't know which, I'll give you links to both procedures:

Is it possible? Yes, anything is possible, but the headlights on your car are sealed units. That means they weren't meant to be opened at all. If you're very mechanically inclined, you can remove the entire headlight assembly and use a real heat gun (not a hairdryer) to soften the seal around the entire lens. Then carefully remove the lens, and clean away. Use high quality sealant to reassemble, $28 a tube from the dealer. If you're lucky nothing will break and it'll seal back up. If not, you could be needing a new headlight assembly for hundreds of dollars.

Easy. Go to where the headlights are connected under the hood. If you have headlights that have individual bulbs, then you could take out the housing and with a stick and cotton clean the inside out. If it were a head lamp unit, then no way. I am pretty sure yours is not a sealed beam head light. But you could do that and clean the inside.

once you've an outstanding battery all you want is allow the motor vehicle sit down, with all switches off, for 20 or 1/2-hour and it is going to commence. All you want then is allow it idle for 5 minutes and also you're good to flow. If the battery does not get better interior the 30 min. time then you genuinely likely choose a clean battery.
