I'm going to visit some friends who live in Austin and going to college there. What is some entertainment/fun that's near where they live and go to school. I'm not from this area so I wanted a pretty good idea of what to do.Also, the trip will be the week of March 20-27, what would be going on, as in events or must sees during that time?

Ask them. They are living there. If they haven't discovered the spots to go, then you don't need to be visiting. Don't go there with some lame idea that somebody gave you from here and said you have to do this. Do your own research.
